At City Tailors, every stitch tells a story  a story rooted in heritage, shaped by craftsmanship, and inspired by sustainability.

We are Ben and Mehmet Aydin, brothers and master tailors, and the founders of CityTailors. Our journey began in the heart of Istanbul’s iconic textile industry in the late 1980s. As young apprentices, we immersed ourselves in the art of garment manufacturing, learning to craft high-end clothing for both men and women. It was there that our deep respect for precision, quality, and timeless tailoring was born.

From Istanbul to the UK: A Legacy Continued

When we moved to the United Kingdom, we brought not just skill, but decades of experience and a true love for our craft. After establishing ourselves in London's competitive tailoring scene, we saw an opportunity to create something more personal, more connected — a tailoring house that truly understood the needs of modern clients while staying faithful to classic craftsmanship.

In 2010, we chose the historic city of Bath as the home for City Tailors. Here, we began a new chapter, blending traditional techniques with a contemporary eye for detail, offering bespoke suits, precision alterations, and high-quality clothing repairs to a community that values integrity and elegance in every garment.
